All of the world's dreams are about to die.  The Shadow People have come.  Always near, they linger in the darkness, ready to devour dreams, hopes, aspirations and desires.

Aisling, having lost her dream of becoming a fashion designer, learns that she is a fairy changeling.  Disquieted by the fact that her fairy parents are kidnappers, she has decided to rescue the human child the was exchanged for, but her "sister" is no longer among the fairies, having been taken by the Shadow People.  Ith, the Lord of Shadows is trying to control the dreams of mankind, which are under the protection of the fairies, so they're at war.

Aisling, who doesn't believe in dreams any longer, is falling in love with a handsome, mysterious stranger - one of the Shadow People.

Aisling is born in the fairy world, switched at birth with a human child. Aisling, lives in the human world unaware of the fairy world until her school tells her that her fashion designs are 'too elaborate'. Aisling starts hearing voices, is banished from the martial arts temple, and sees mysterious 'balls of light'.

Aisling soon enters the Fairy world with her best friend Genevieve and together they discover a world of wonder and magic. As they explore the world together they discover that the Fairies are at war with The Shadows. The Shadows wants to destroy the dreams, and the Queen wants to preserve the dreams of the world.

All Aisling wants to do is save her 'sister' from the shadow realm. But what will she discover if she continues down this path?

I absolutely loved this book. It is refreshing to read a book that makes me want to read more. The characters are each different and unique that give the world the since of wonder that makes you want to read more. The characters uniqueness gives you the feeling that you connect to them.

Mark creates a world of wonder and magic with each page. The world is full of lies, truth, and that grey area in the middle. Mark creates a world where his wonderful characters have to determine what is the truth and what is a lie.

Come Join Aisling and Genevieve in the wondrous tale, while I wait for the next part of the story.
